Vinaceous Vermentino Wine - 75cl 12.5%

The brainchild of wine-marketer Nick Stacy and winemaker Michael Kerrigan, the concept of Vinaceous is to produce seven wines representing seven personalities which include men, women, angels, demons, mermaids and other mythological creatures.

Using fun and provocative imagery, based on theatrical or circus posters from the 1930s and 40s, the labels are most definitely striking – and the wines inside the bottle match the labels for their evocative power.This is the first vintage of Vermentino and it represents the ultra cool climate of the Mount Barker region in Western Australlia.

Grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel vats. This preserves the delicate aromatics of the resulting wine, which is bottled without further ageing.
