This is the third release from Pensador.
Unlike their other mezcal expressions, which have consistent recipes and profiles, Especial forms a limited series of agave spirits.
Each batch is unique, showcasing different agaves and different producers from their home region of Miahuatla´n.This has not been certified as “mezcal”, and is instead classified as “Destilados de Agave”, or Agave Spirits.
This aromatic mezcal is perfect for sipping.
Tasting Notes
Nose: An umami bomb of green pepper, fresh coriander, jalepeño and seaweed.
Palate: A clean fresh palate.
Finish: A long and constantly evolving finish. A phenomenal spirit.
