The range of Aged Habitation Velier is enriched by the Long Pond distillery thanks to the collaboration between Velier and the National Rums of Jamaica Association, which led to this absolute preview: the Monymusk EMB 2010.
As always, it is a 100% Pot Still, with 9 years of tropical ageing, bottled to the degree of barrel (barrel proof) without adding sugar or caramel.
This Pure Single Rum reaches a level of esters between 127 and 175 g / hlpa.
Limited to 1 per customer.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Fruity and greedy. Apricot and pineapple with cardamom, apple pie, a hint of tobacco and a tasty salt dough.
Palate: The mouth opens on much sweeter spices, before the roasted pineapple takes over. There is orange zest, vanilla beans and a toasty side.
Finish: Rich and powerful. A compote of ripe fruit, an acetone side and a phenomenal power.
