Produced by Michter's in homage to John Shenk, who founded a distillery in 1753, which would eventually go onto become The Michter's Distillery!
Shenk’s Homestead, a sour-mash whisky incorporating plenty of rye, matured partly in Chinquapin oak barrels.
An exceptional whisky for sipping, Shenk’s Homestead offers clove and dried fruit in the palate, with an oaky finish.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Brown sugar aroma with baking spice and fresh citrus.
Palate: A beautiful sipping whiskey with some sweet caramel notes.
Finish: The caramel finishes onto the finish, followed by hints of nutmeg, clove and dried fruit.
