Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release Decade 2 - 43.7% 70cl

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray.

The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.

A limited edition single malt from Macallan, this is the second decade released celebrating The Six Decades of Bond.

Distilled at the Macallan distillery in Speyside, this release is part of the James Bond 60th Anniversary series released in 2022.

Decade II saw the arrival of Roger Moore as the third actor to play the title character.

The whisky has been matured for an undisclosed length of time in oak casks, before being bottled at a strength of 43.7% abv.

The packaging design includes sketches and storyboards from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Stromborg’s Atlantis marine research lab and various space station concepts from Moonraker (1979).
