Lord Elcho is a delicious blended whisky which was named after the 5th Earl of Wemyss, one of the current company owners' ancestors.
The depth and complexity that has been created in the blend makes this whisky perfect for sipping and savouring and this 15 year old is no exception, richly flavoured and bottled at 40%.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Gingernut biscuits and vanilla cream with hints of delicious toffee apples, porridge oats and nutmeg.
Palate: Spiced and malty with notes of cocoa butter and sandalwood. Hints of chocolate, salt caramel and custard.
Finish: Malt-driven finish with notes of spice on the tail.
