Description
Lochlea is one of Scotland's newest distilleries, with this release being the first of their core products.
The Lochlea - Our Barley spirit is distilled from locally grown barley and natural water resources to ensure full traceability from field to cask.
Matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels, Oloroso Sherry casks and STR barriques, Lochlea 'Our Barley' sits at 46% ABV and is non chill-filtered with no added colouring.
Carefully honed by Production Director John Campbell, Our Barley will sit alongside Lochlea seasonal limited releases.
Limited to 1 bottle per customer.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Pear syrup, fruit bon bons, warm cut grass, marmalade. Palate: Golden syrup, pepper, rye bread, macadamia nuts, cream soda. Finish: A long finish with a lovely lasting orange beeswax note.
