Johnnie Walker's latest release is the Blue Label celebrating the Year of the Pig!
Last time the Chinese celebrated the Year of the Pig was back in 2007, the Chinese years are named after twelve zodiac animals, Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.
Not much is known more than it is bottled at 46% ABV and the bottles will be individually numbered.
The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Limited Edition Designs is available in most markets, in contrast to some of the earlier Johnnie Walker releases celebrating the Chinese New Year.
Earlier releases from Johnnie Walker being mainly available in the Asian markets has been among others in 2013 a 12 bottle release Zodiac Collection and others like the Year of the Horse only being available in Taiwan.

Nose: Mellow and rounded, mixing signature dry smokiness with raisin sweetness.
Palate: Hazelnut, honey, sherry and orange.
Finish: Wispy and aromatic combination of sandalwood and tobacco.
