Filey Bay Special Release Sherry Cask Batch 3 Whisky - 46% 70cl

For the third of Filey Bay's annual autumn Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve series, Whisky Director Joe married together five Fino casks from the warehouse, three which were filled with Pot distillate, and 2 which held lighter column distillate.

Made from palomino grapes, Fino sherry is naturally light, dry and delicate.

During maturation, the heavier and oilier nature of our more traditional pot distillate really took on the spicy, ginger notes of these casks, whilst the fruitier, lighter nature let the sweet, honey flavours sing.
