Description
From the unique Micro Provenance range from Bruichladdich Distillery comes this 12 year old whisky that has spent its full maturation in Amarone red wine casks from Italy.
Distilled from Oxbridge barley, which is a barley variety we haven't seen in use very often.
Bottled in December 2021 at a cask strength of 60.4%. Just one of a limited amount of 276 bottles, continuing their Micro Provenance series.
Distillery: Bruichladdich
Bruichladdich, Scotland
One of two distilleries on the Rhinns of Islay, the western peninsula of the island, Bruichladdich was founded in 1881.
Over the past 130 years, the distillery has changed hands many times and had frequent closures, but since 2000 it has been reborn, and is yet again at the forefront of Scottish whisky distilling.
