Built by John Duff in 1898, BenRiach draws its water from the Burnside springs located underground, deep below the distillery.

In
1898, Benriach founder John Duff chose to open his new distillery on the site
of the old Riach Farm. Ruggedly beautiful, the Benriach Distillery draws its
water from the mineral-rich aquifer deep beneath the grounds.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Caramelised sugar over roasted orchard fruits and apricot jam. Mixed peel and a hint of white pepper add a crisp contrast. Palate: A perfect balance of toasted oak spices, crisp citrus, rich yellow plums and rum soaked raisins. Finish: Similar to the palate with a beautiful cracked barley finish.
