The First Vintage Distillery release from the Ballindalloch Distillery.
Based in Speyside Ballindalloch was founded in 2014 on the estate of the same name. Home to the Macpherson-Grant clan since 1546. Ballindalloch is Speyside's first true 'estate distillery'.
The 2015 vintage has been created from 80% ex-bourbon casks and 20% ex-sherry casks, all matured for at least 8 years.
This 2015 Vintage is part of a UK exclusive release and serves as the first 'core' product from Ballindalloch Distillery.
Limited to just 3,600 bottles and exclusively for the UK market.
No Chill filtration and natural colour.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Elegant and robust. The aroma seduces with rich dried fruits and floral notes. Hints of orange zest and dark chocolate.
Palate: Rich with dark cherries and stewed plums. Robust notes of sweet sherry, leather, and smoked oak.
Finish: Long, rich and full. Think Christmas, spiced fruitcake and a lingering sweetness.
