Description
This is the July 2023 release of Ardnamurchan Sherry Cask.
This release is a rich, decadent combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez matured whiskies, and peated and unpeated distillates.
Bottled at natural colour, unchill-filtered and at 50% vol, this latest release from Ardnamurchan has all the hallmarks of a superb, sherry cask release whisky from the Highlands of Scotland.
The outturn is 13,998 bottles worldwide.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Murray mint, bonfire on the beach, salted peanut ice- cream, tomato stalks, Brazil nut and sundried tomatoes.
Palate: Tarry rope, bung cloth, smoky bacon, old tractor shed, peanut brittle, sticky spare-ribs.
Finish: Crashing waves, sea-salt, bothy fireplace and cigar shop.
