The name Omar actually comes from the Gaelic and means as much as amber.
Omar Bourbon Cask is a smooth whisky that shows elegant aromas of vanilla, orange peel and jasmine.
The silky and almost weightless mouth feel makes it a bright, flavour some whisky perfect for sipping.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Strong nose of cooked ripe orange, mandarin with sherry cask notes, dried fruit, some dark chocolate, lots of clove, cinnamon, liquorice and oaky vanilla notes.
Palate: On the palate it is very powerful, ripe orange, dried apricot, honey, raisin, vanilla, cloves, dark chocolate, dried apricot.
Finish: Strong and rich flavoured.
