I'm a fan of Nikka and as it seems difficult to buy other ranges of japanese whiskies, I've been trying every single one I can find. the taketsuru is not my go-to but it is still a smooth and flavoursome whisky. a bit sharp on the tongue and a bit fiery which took me by surprise but once you get past that surprise it makes for a nice drinking whisky.
