Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland.
The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family with the distillery having six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners. By using the finest ingredients, combined with traditional distillation methods, the unforgettable flavour of Glenfarclas is created.

Tasting Notes
Glenfarclas 10 year old:
Nose: Lots of sherry but also juicy. There is a sweet aspect with the honey and a touch of toffee. Creamy, malty and barley.
Palate: Immediately you notice winter spice but then you get hit with rich fruitcake, toffee and a hint of smoke.
Finish: Long and spicy. The fruitiness continues through to the finish with oak.Glenfarclas 105 cask strength:
Nose: There is a great depth to the nose with sherry and a creamy and nutty aspect. Sweet with honey on toast and just a touch of smoky coffee.
Palate: Silken, spicy and peppery oak. Almond, praline, hazelnut, dried peels and fruit.
Finish: Long, peppery and nutty.Glenfarclas 12 year old:
Nose: Intense with a powerful sherry and almost a touch of peppermint.
Palate: Raisins with yet more sherry, orange peel, walnuts and dates.
Finish: Incredibly long and complex with more of the Walnuts again making an appearance.
