Sweet with more citrus on the palate as well as pears and delicious toffee apples, Well balanced and exceptionally smooth with a long and creamy finish. Aberlour 10 Year Old: Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness. relatively full bodied with spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana. Caramel and honey on the finish, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger. Tomintoul 10 Year Old Speyside Glenlivet: A beautiful golden amber colour. The nose is of medium weight with some biscuity sweetness, hints of cinnamon and mixed spice. A Rround, soft, gentle and smooth palate with more biscuit sweetness. Medium weight with a long and elegant finish.
