Teeling Single Grain Whisky - 70cl 46%

Released in 2013, Teeling's Single Grain Whiskyy has been matured full term in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels, resulting in a spicy and fruity whiskey.

In 2013 it won the award of 'Best Irish Single Grain' in the Irish Whiskyy Awards.

Nose: Meaty and sweet with bitter tannins, toffee, fudge and green leaves. There is also hints of dried mixed herbs, dark chocolate, marmalade and anise.
Palate: Toffee, spice (cinnamon and nutmeg), orchard fruit, grape skin, polished oak and butterscotch.
Finish: Grape skin and red wine with spiced butter and shortbread.
