Here, from a small, specially selected batch of refill American oak hogsheads creates this sublime 28 Year Old Single Malt.
Each expression within the range is bottled in limited batches. While recognising that each bottling will vary, the aim is to achieve a consistency of quality and character over time. To ensure each whisky maintains its original flavour and character, the whiskies are not chill-filtered and no colouring is added.
Tasting Notes
Complex, coastal and peaty, this Port Askaig Whisky has refreshing mint and pine, alongside almonds, tropical fruits and vanilla.
The palate offers notes of orange peel, custard and cinnamon, alongside salty, savoury notes.
