The Highlands is by far the largest of all the whisky producing regions and offers you the greatest variations of style as well as housing some of the best-known distilleries. One of our favourite regions, the Highlands is home to some stunning distilleries including The Dalmore, Glenmorangie and Highland Park. Typical Style: An array of styles, Western Highlands boasts a sweet start and a dry finish as the North Highland Malts tend to have a spicier character with the Central, Southern and Eastern parts proving a mixed bunch though predominantly fruity and sweet.
