Description
Despite the distillery closing in 1994, owners Loch Lomond have been releasing some of the now-mature stocks every year.
The 2015 edition was distilled between December 17 1989 and April 4 1990 and has been bottled at 25 years old.
Aged in a combination of ten American and European oak cask, it was then married together in first-fill oloroso sherry casks before being bottled at 50.4% ABV. Limited to a number of 1,500 bottles, this superb whisky comes in a Littlemill presented wooden box.
Distillery: Littlemill
Bowling, Scotland
One of Scotland's oldest distilleries, there is a possibility that whisky was being made at the Littlemill site as early as 1772
Littlemill single malts are known for their lowland floral character, with notes of vanilla and a sweet honey aftertaste. There are a number of bottlings available of the remaining stock which are aged from 21 to 40 years old.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Initially quite rich, not overbearingly. Warm vanilla and hazelnuts lead alongside some sweet floral honey. Warming spices then make a faint appearance in the background which over time combine nicely with floral notes.
Palate: Consistent through to the palate with a theme similar to the nose. Initially vanilla dominated before honey notes take over as well as a touch of allspice, nutmeg and other sweet spices.
Finish: A pleasant, long finish. A perfect example of a whisky which has been very skillfully aged, allowing the complexity to build.
